We
at Connect DFW understand that our success is indebted to the communities in
which we work. Our company maintains a commitment to serving these communities
both through fundraising efforts and volunteer activities. We have fostered a
philanthropic corporate culture that is reflected in our team members’
dedication to giving back.
As
such, Connect DFW has recently worked with several esteemed charitable
organizations, including the One Fund and Walk for Wishes. Several of our team
members have also participated in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure.
There
are many organizations in the Dallas/Fort Worth area that you can become
involved with to serve the community. If you’re interested in assisting senior
citizens in the area, ElderHelpers.org offers a great opportunity to participate
on a flexible schedule. You can help elderly residents of the Dallas/Fort Worth
area in a variety of ways, from physical activity to arts and crafts.
Giving
back to your community doesn’t have to be limited to helping people. One of our
favorite organizations in the area is Lone Star Kitties and Kanines, which
helps find homes for pets. By becoming an adoption assistant, you can help
match potential adopters with the best fit for their household. You’ll also be
able to help socialize homeless pets by giving them love and attention.
These
